Research Analysis: The assignment of Hannah Vosburgh as the daughter of Isaac Vosburgh and Johanna Winchell is based on several factors: 1) Unsupported claims in Ancestral File and various on-line unsourced family trees; 2) The marriage of Daniel Webster and Hannah is given as Sheffield, MA, which is the town where Isaac died; 3) Daniel Webster and Hannah named one of their sons Isaac Vosburgh Webster. Between the location evidence and the naming evidence, this seems like a very probable assignment. Hannah Vosburgh was born circa 1736 at probably, Kinderhook, Columbia, New York.1 She was the daughter of Isaac Vosburgh and Johanna Winchell. Hannah Vosburgh married Daniel Webster, son of Noah Webster and Katherine Newcomb, on 31 December 1754 at Sheffield, Berkshire, Massachusetts.2 Hannah Vosburgh died between 1776 and 1782.
