Lydia Gibbs was born on 15 May 1704 at Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Job Gibbs and Judith Bates.2 Lydia Gibbs married William Swift, son of Joseph Swift and Mercy Blackwell, on 2 March 1731/32 at Sandwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts.1,3 Lydia Gibbs died after 31 October 1752.1
