While there, the entire household suffered from dysentery from which seven of the family died, including Phineas' wife Abigail.6 He lived circa 1800 at Elba, Genesee, New York; bought land of the Holland Land Co., township 13 range 1.3 He died in 1803 at Elba, Genesee, New York.1,7,8 His estate was probated on 17 August 1803 at Elba, Genesee, New York; died intestate, son Solomon named Executor.8

Isaiah Kingsley married Abigail Palmer, daughter of Seth Palmer and Elizabeth Cary, on 20 January 1746/47 at Scotland 1st Congregational Church, Windham, Connecticut.1,4 Isaiah Kingsley married Sarah Wadsworth after 1777.4 During the Revolutionary War when Burgoyne came down from Canada, Phineas and David fled from Rutland, Vermont with their families to their father's home in Becket, Massachusetts.
